“Back to the Future” Gala

PACN’s “Back to the Future” Gala on April 3 was a success on so many levels. “I never knew PACN touched so many areas of need in our community,” responded one attendee. A local pastor was “blown away” by all that PACN does. One couple, who has been coming to PACN’s Galas for 7 years, said that this is the year they realized they wanted to get more involved by volunteering.
The Gala was held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The evening had a variety of highlights. It started off with local Christian comedian, Bob Smiley, entertaining our VIP guests, including the Conroe Knights of Columbus 6456, Platinum sponsors and Ron and Debbie McClain, Gold sponsors.
Our guests perused the Silent Auction items while being entertained by Harpist, Leslie Blanchard.
The program’s highlights were: the Children’s Ensemble from Founders Baptist Church who sang “This Little Light of Mine”; a presentation recapping PACN’s past year and the vision for the future, which includes expanding The Woodlands/Spring Center and exploring the possibility of opening a second thrift store in the Spring area; Danette McMahon, a local musical artist, talked about her experience as an adopted child, then sang a song she wrote in tribute to “The Lady I Never Knew”; the evening ended with client testimonies of how PACN changed their lives.
We give God the Glory for a wonderful night.
ECHOING ANGELS BENEFIT CONCERT

If you were not at the Echoing Angels concert on Sunday night, May 3 at Crossroads Baptist Church in The Woodlands, you missed a “rocking” good time!
Everyone at the concert was entertained and brought into worship by this Atlanta-based Christian group.
We praised and worshipped the LORD through prayer, song and laughter.
