Over 50 PACN client-families had Christmas wishes come true thanks to The Woodlands United Methodist Church, Mike Shine, and several anonymous businesses and individuals.

Children and parents were blessed with an abundance of gifts and food. Mr. Shine donated twenty-seven new bikes and trikes as an added bonus to the wish lists.

Christmas BlessingsOne of the families who received Christmas help this year were grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Along with numerous gifts and food for the whole family, the anonymous donating business is also helping with some medical needs.

PACN staff and volunteers love to see the excitement of the clients as they experience God’s love for them shown through the caring members of our community.

We Love Our Volunteers

One of the ways PACN can operate with a small staff is due to our wonderful 100+ volunteers who work at PACN on a weekly basis. We have many volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteer Training ClassPACN conducts three trainings each year for women and men who want to volunteer as a Peer Counselor. A Peer Counselor meets with women, men and families experiencing unintended pregnancies. Those who come to PACN looking for help are often frightened and unsure of what to do. A Volunteer Peer Counselor offers acceptance, someone to talk to, hope, assistance and resources to help them during their pregnancy; having a positive impact on their lives both now and eternally.

It is proven that volunteering is good for your health. Volunteers enjoy longer lives, have higher functional ability and have lower rates of depression and heart disease.

Volunteer TrainingWhen you volunteer at PACN, we win and you win!
